Our facilities

When it comes to our facilities and services shoreside we have a great range available.

Fuel at Penarth Marina

Our fuel is of high quality and used by all the commercial vessels in Cardiff Bay. We buy from one supplier and the tank is tested regularly to maintain a high quality. Our Unleaded & Gasoil is competitively priced and served daily from 9-5pm.

Chandlery in Penarth Marina

Onsite we have a small shop providing a selection of engine spares, antifouls, cleaning products and basic chandlery items . We are also a distibutor of Calor Gas.

Boat Sales at Penarth Marina

BJ Marine are the sole Beneteau dealer for all of Wales, providing Beneteau powerboats, Beneteau sailboats, racing boats and sailing cruisers to people across Wales and the west of England. BJ Marine also has an extensive brokerage network comprising of hundreds of second-hand yachts and sailboats, used sports boats and fishing boats, cruiser trawlers and power yachts.

Sea Schools in Penarth Marina

Cardiff Yachting Company offers private tuition and skippered charter aboard X Beat II sailing yacht or a RIB. Also Cardiff Yachting Company (Sea School)  is a RYA Recognised Training Centre offering RYA Interactive courses.

One Ocean Sea School is an RYA Recognised Powerboat Training Centre who run the entire RYA Powerboat training scheme from Level 1 & 2 for novices to the MCA Advanced Commercial Examination.

Both companies do on board training if you would some guidance on your own vessel.

We have appointed Towergate as our preferred boat insurance partner, their expertise in Marine insurance ensures you have the right insurance cover for your boat. Their flexible insurance packages at competitive prices are underwritten by Navigators and General. In addition, all annual berth holders are entitled to 20% discount.
