Coming from a hospitality management background Hugh jumped on aboard 6 years ago with strong customer service skills and lots of nautical experience growing up boating in Falmouth and now a helm on Penarth Lifeboat.
Matt came from Mayflower marina where he worked part time around university. He came on board as boatyard assistant and has now become our administrator. In his spare time Matt is a keen surfer and sailor.
Dave has been with the company for 17 years. Dave's background prior to working in the marina was hospitality, hence his great customer service. We have all learnt from Dave’s boatyard skills!
Mark joined the crew 16 years ago coming from a military background. He has plenty of experience knowledge to share. Mark enjoys getting float when he can to do a bit of fishing.
Phil came on board 6 years ago moving over from Cardiff Barrage control and has plenty of advice and knowledge regarding the bay. Phil enjoys getting out fishing when he can or cooking at home.
Jamie is the newest member of the marina team from a leisure management background so recognises the importance of customer service and health and safety. Jamie is a keen rugby fan, but main passion is for all things culinary.
Ian joined us 3 years ago to help with painting, but since his role has turned into a general maintenance one. He is meticulous in his work; a great skill for improving the site.
