Flood Debris at Marina Entrance
Following heavy rainfall associated with Storm Babet, flood debris in the Tyne estuary is continuing to cause a problem as it accumulates against the lock gates.
Underwater Dive Works & Repairs to Disused Timber Lock Gates
Mariners are advised that divers will be carrying out underwater work on two of the now disused timber lock gates, situated either side of the current lock gates, during the period from Tuesday 5th September 2023 to Friday 15th September 2023
Mariners are advised that from Saturday 26 August 2023 conservation repair work will take place on the disused timber lock gates at Royal Quays Marina.
The work will take place during daylight hours and will be ongoing for approximately one month.
