Closure of Marina lock gates - Wednesday 4th September 2024

Notice of Lock Gate Closure Wednesday 4 September 2024

In order to repair an electrical fault, the lock gates  at Royal Quays Marina will be out of action from 0830 to 1600 on Wednesday 4 September 2024.

During this time, it will not be possible for vessels to enter or depart the marina.

Vessels wishing to go to sea on this day should depart the lock before the close down.

Vessels may use the waiting pontoon to delay their sailing, or if returning to the marina before reopening.

We will endeavour to complete the repair as quickly as possible and if completed earlier than scheduled this will be notified via the marina Facebook page.

We apologise for the short notice of the closure, however, it is important that we undertake the work promptly to ensure reliable operation of the gates.
