The Royal Quays Marina boatyard provides boat lifting and secure hardstanding/storage for boats up to 40 tonnes and the hoist dock can accommodate vessels up to 5.3 metres wide. We also have a 1.5 tonne capacity jib crane for un-stepping masts, lifting engines and other ancillary tasks.
The boatyard is available to resident berth holders and visitors alike.
Annual berth holders are entitled to 12 weeks hardstanding during the term of their contract at no additional cost and benefit from preferential rates.
We operate an ‘open-yard’ policy, allowing you to undertake work on your own boat, or to employ a professional contractor your choice. Please note all contractors must have a ‘permit to work’ at Royal Quays - please contact the marina office for details
The following services are available:
- Lifting and blocking off on prop stands or yacht cradle
- Loading or unloading to/from transport
- Mast stepping/unstepping
- Engine lifts
- Pressure washing
- Survey and inspection lifts (lift, wash, hold 1 hr/2 hr/overnight, re-launch)
- Reduced rate for quick turnaround of less than one week
- Vessel tow to/from berth
Electricity (240v, 16 amp – supply your own extension lead) and water available.
Access to the boatyard is security controlled.
