Boaters all over the world have been voting for their favourite marinas and Royal Quays Marina has pipped the rest to the post to scoop Towergate’s Coastal Marina of the Year for marinas over 250 berths, for the second year running.
The Yacht Harbor Association (TYHA), one of the oldest international yachting associations in the world, has been working closely with its partner, Towergate Insurance, to recognise the best of Gold Anchor accredited marinas from around the globe.
There were six categories in total: Marina Employee of the Year, Coastal Marina of the Year - under 250 berths and over 250 berths, Inland Marina of the Year, International Marina of the Year, and Superyacht Marina of the Year.
Matt Simms, Marina Manager at Royal Quays, comments,
“I am very proud that the marina team at Royal Quays has set such a high standard of service that our berth holders and guests have acknowledged their level of dedication by voting for us in the awards as the best – for the second year running! The team at Royal Quays works with passion to provide a second home for our yachts and guests, and this recognition validates our efforts. We would like to thank everyone who voted for us.”
Michael Prideaux, Managing Director of boatfolk said,
“Our philosophy at boatfolk is to create great places for everyone that wants to be in, on, under or by the water, and this award is a true testament to our customer ethos and commitment to creating a community of happy boaters. Our dedicated and enthusiastic team always create the warmest of welcomes to both visitors and berth holders at Royal Quays Marina and we are thrilled to have been recognised by boaters as the best that the industry has to offer.”
