ISC Round the Island Race

Medina Yacht Club

Formed in 2015, Medina Yacht Club is an RYA affiliated Club for boating people around the Medina River area. The Club’s aims are to promote boating of all types, provide social and networking opportunities to build friendships between boaters, provide peer to peer support to build boating confidence for our members. Cowes Week

Whether you’re a sailing fanatic or looking for some summer sun, come and join us for Cowes Week, coming to The Isle of Wight every August! The world’s biggest sailing regatta takes place on the Solent each year, attracting thousands of competitive sailors and even more enthusiastic spectators.

Tuesday Evening Racing with the ISC

For the past 70 years the Island Sailing Club has been organising yacht racing in The Solent on a Tuesday Evening, and this year will be no different. With arguably the highest density of yacht clubs in the country, you can choose from our very own Medina Yacht Club through the East Cowes Sailing Club and Cowes Corinthian to the Royal London and the Royal Yacht Squadron. Between Cowes and East Cowes there’s a club for everyone!

Solent Destinations – Newtown Creek

With some visitor moorings laid by the National Trust, and plenty of anchoring space as well as lots of interesting history, Newtown Creek is the perfect natural overnight anchorage.

One of the few privately owned rivers in the world, the truly beautiful Beaulieu River has been carefully conserved by the Montagu family for over four centuries. With plenty of visitor mooring buoys for day stops or overnight visits and newly extended pontoons at Buckler’s Hard, there’s room for everyone.
