Jon is the tenth generation of Conwy fishermen and is part of the furniture having completed 22 years of stress-free service. Outside of work Jon is a keen rugby fan and tries to get to as many Wales rugby internationals as possible.
Senior Yacht Broker / Brand Manager
Phil has been around Conwy marina since leaving school and has tried his hand at all areas of boating. Phil once had a good head of hair, but it soon disappeared when he started selling boats! Phil enjoys sailing and wakeboarding.
From treading the boards to walking the plank (not literally) Becki is a long established member of the team with a crew of sailors in her family. Becki is Conwy born and bred and with a love for travel and the outdoors she is certainly living her best life!
Steve has been a member of the Conwy Marina family since he left school with a 2-year hiatus. After returning as berthing master Steve has gradually worked his way up to Yard Supervisor. Away from the marina Steve is a loving husband and father to Ruby and Franky. In his spare time he’s is a keen golfer with a handicap of 10.
Senior Berthing Master
Martin joined Conwy marina back in 1992 as a seasonal fuel attendant before becoming a full-time employee in 1994. A holder of the Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award, and an array of RYA qualifications Martin also held the title of Lord's Lieutenant Cadet.
What John doesn’t know about fishing isn’tworth knowing about. On top of that he is the 2019 Yacht Harbour Association’s Marina Employee of the Year. Fishing or exemplary service, John is the man to know.
Dave has for the last 20 years worked in the marine industry. He is well versed in boat handling, care and maintenance. Outside of work Dave is a keen musician and can often be seen performing with the Llandudno town band.
Simon has worked around boats for some time now and enjoys the daily atmosphere of marina life. An avid golfer he cherishes any opportunity to be in the great outdoors.
Yacht Broker - boatpoint Conwy
Sarah is one of our Yacht Brokers and has joined Conwy Marina after returning home from living and working overseas in Auckland, New Zealand. Having grown up sailing and boating in North Wales, she enjoys spending time with family and friends exploring the local Welsh waters. Outside of the boating world, Sarah is a keen skier and hiker and can often be found on the side of a mountain somewhere enjoying the views.
Senior Systems Engineer - boatcare
Paul joined the British R.E.M.E in 1978 as a mechanic and completed 28 years of service. He also achieved his PHD in his rank of A.S.M. Paul has over 25 years experience in the marine industry and previously owned and operated North Wales Marine Engineering. When Paul finds the time, he enjoys short breaks away in his caravan.
Karen has boundless enthusiasm and a welcoming smile for everyone. She qualified marine engineer, and the first female engineer in North Wales, and is a perfect fit with the team.
Callum is the first boatcare apprentice at Conwy Marina splitting his time between work and college. He covers all aspects of the yard from lifting to antifouling. In his spare time, he is an avid drummer and also enjoys air softing.
Oliver has worked within the fishing industry part time for 10 years owning his own fishing boats and crewing on others. In his spare time, he enjoys restoring boats and working on engines.
You will often see Eryl buzzing back and forth on the marina basin, often because he's got to G leg and has forgotten a vital tool. In his downtime, Eryl likes nothing more than to be out on the water fishing.
