Our boatfolk at Rhu Marina
Suzanne joined Rhu Marina in 2006 and progressively took over management of the Marina in 2012. Suzanne enjoys the outdoors, being on the water, sail and powerboats. In 2017 she was accredited with the Global Marina Institutes Certified Marina Manager Qualification.
Senior Berthing Master
Eddy has worked at Rhu Marina for 14 years. Boating is in his blood, he has been driving boats since the age of 5, nothing much has changed! You will find him in the boatyard, always repairing something.
Fiona started as Marina Administrator in 2015. Although not from a boating background she enjoys being on the water (in fair weather) and hopes to get out and learn more. Outside of work she spends most of her time with family.
Ross has been at Rhu since 2012, he particularly enjoys working in the boatyard, operating machinery and is a dab hand at fixing stuff. In his spare time, he’s likes to be out on his boat for a spot of fishing around the Gareloch.
Simon has worked at Rhu since 2016. He is a keen sailor, especially on the racing scene. When he is not around the marina you can usually find Simon on one of the local ski slopes!
You will see James at the marina at weekends during the summer. He loves working in and around the water and volunteers for the local sea cadet unit. James hopes to pursue a career in the Merchant Navy.
Seasonal Berthing Master
Mark is looking forward to his second season working at Rhu. He loves being on the water and works part time on the Loch Lomond National Park Patrol Boats. He likes to do a bit of fly fishing.
