Suzanne Bell

Marina Manager

Suzanne joined Rhu Marina in 2006 and progressively took over management of the Marina in 2012. Suzanne enjoys the outdoors, being on the water, sail and powerboats. In 2017 she was accredited with the Global Marina Institutes Certified Marina Manager Qualification. She also sits on the Board of British Marine Scotland.

Fiona Glover

Assistant Marina Manager

Fiona joined Rhu Marina in 2015 as the Marina Administrator and over the years she has progressively taken over extra responsibilities, her skills and knowledge have benefited Suzanne to assist with the running of the marina on a day to day basis. In August 2022 Fiona was promoted to Marina Assistant Manager, she has vast knowledge of all marina operations and of course all our customers boating needs and requirements. She is also incredibly organised and focused keeps the whole team on the straight and narrow.

Simon Jackson

Berthing Master

Simon has worked at Rhu since 2016. He is a keen sailor, especially on the racing scene. When he is not around the marina you can usually find Simon on one of the local ski slopes!

James Pettit

Berthing Master

James joined as a weekend assistant in  April 2019, and then as a full time berthing master in April 2022.  Rhu is an ideal fit for James, he has development his skill in the boatyard and pontoon side of the business and is now an all rounder.  He loves working in and around the water and volunteers for the local sea cadet unit. James hopes to pursue a career within the marine industry

Simon Storrie

Berthing Master

With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Simon decided to explore the yachting sector in 2009. He started out as a crew member on a 62-meter privately run vessel and then moved to a busy charter yacht where he worked as a Chief Steward for over six years. After the sale of the yacht, Simon expanded his career by managing private households in Dubai, London, and Scotland, alongside training interior staff for royalty and presidents. With his vast experience and expert skills, he has now returned to yachting.

Robert Young

Yard Operative

Robert (Rab) started working with the yard team at  Rhu Marina in June  2022.  Rabs is enjoying a career change away from the road as a heavy goods driver.  He enjoys working outdoors in and around boats.  In his free time Rab plays golf and enjoys a game of pool.
