Volunteer with MV Freedom

Friends of MV Freedom is a local charity that offers half day trips to sea on their purpose built 10 meter motor catamaran for people living with disability.

They are looking to widen their pool of volunteer skippers and need people who can commit some time during their season which runs on weekdays from april to October.

Essential requirements;

• Minimum of RYA Coastal or RYA Advanced Powerboat with commercial endorsement
• Two years relevant experience in a similar vessel

Desirable experience;

• Knowledge of Weymouth Bay and Portland Harbour
• Able to commit to one day a week during their operating season

By volunteering with MV Freedom you would be joining a team of committed enthusiastic people who provide access to the sea for people who would otherwise not be able to enjoy the delights of a day on the water. You will derive tremendous satisfaction and plaeasure through volunteering and knowing that you have helped enrich the lives of others.
