The Town Centre is approximately 200 metres from Haslar, perfect for relaxed shopping, the High Street has an interesting blend of smaller shops and cafes, offering choice and personal service, as well as major high street names. Largely pedestrianised, the High Street provides a safe environment for a family-friendly shopping experience. Every Tuesday and Saturday there is a market in the High Street with a good selection of stalls including plants, butchery, pet supplies and green grocers. 
 
Gosport is a big town and has several large supermarkets ranging from Waitrose to Asda, Morrisons, Aldi and many more. 
 
The Town Centre is also home to the fantastic Discovery Centre and Gosport Gallery, and plays host to a number of civic and community events throughout the year. 
 
If you are looking for a little bit more, you could get carried away at Gunwharf Quays where over 90 famous brand stores come together with great dining experiences all set on the historic waterfront. You can also pick out your boat from the stunning 170 metre Emirates Spinnaker Tower, with its spectacular views over Portsmouth Harbour and along the coast.
