boatfolk runners raise over £1000 for the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust

As part of the Royal Parks Half Marathon

A small but perfectly formed team of heroes spent Sunday 11th April running the virtual Royal Parks Half Marathon, raising funds for our charity partner, The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust.

A real group-wide effort, the team was made up of Ben Lipiett from Haslar Marina, the Portland Marina runners Bee Woodland and Tom Ralph, Jess Olden & Kevin Richardson from East Cowes Marina, and Simon Rowlands from Conwy Marina.

Everyone finished the feat (with a few personal bests achieved along the way!) and even more importantly they raised over £1000 for the Trust, which will help fund the amazing work they are doing for young people on the road to recovery after cancer.
