Portland Pups Doggy Gathering

Calling all sea dogs and those pups who just love the sea*! Join us for the inaugural Portland Pups doggy gathering with lots of fun competitions, group walks and the Portland Pups catdogwalk.

*Well behaved and sociable pups on a lead only please!

Saturday 5th October

• 10am - SUP Pup race (weather permitting) - a paddle board race with a short course for you and your four legged crew. Pit yourself against other Human and canine crews to see who can navigate our course the fastest!
• 11am - Group dog walk starting from Salt to either Black Barge Beach via the field by Heli Ops and back to the marina or along Hamm Beach and back, finishing at Salt for coffee, cake (humans) & doggy ice cream (canines).
• 12pm - Fastest sausage eating competition (for the dogs, not the humans!)
• 2pm - Agility course opens for practice and those who just want to have a go.
• 2.30pm - Agility course time trial
• 4pm - The Marina Mutts catdogwalk with prizes for the best-dressed pup, saltiest seadog and waggiest tail!

This is a free event, but please register so we know how many to expect and can adjust timings accordingly. As with all outdoor activities, this is weather dependent!
